Our regular events
"STARS" Weekly lessons
STARS Basis
Every week there are 2 hours of classes from our leading teachers, about 10 students regularly come to us who are just beginning their journey in knowledge of the Torah and mitzvot. There are 80 hours of classes per month.
STARS Intensive
Classes for 8 hours a week for boys and girls who are already advanced in Judaism. Every week about 15 students come to us for intensive study of Jewish laws. There are 32 hours of classes per month.
Farbrengens for boys
Every week we organize farbrengens on Thursdays for men. At these meetings there is a pleasant atmosphere and the words of the Torah and nigunim are heard. Every time about 10 guys come to us. There were 4 farbrengens in Av, which were attended by 45 guys
Farbrengens for girls
On important Jewish dates, we hold farbrengens for our students, where they can not only eat delicious and kosher food, but also learn something new for themselves, and maybe even take on a new commitment. Every time about 10 girls come to us. Two farbrengens were held in Av, attended by 23 participants
Programs for kids
In the month of Sivan we completed our children's programs and went on summer vacation, but here is some information about them
KIDS programs
Every Sunday we hold meetings for Jewish children from 6 to 12 years old. Participants listen to Torah lessons, make beautiful products in master classes and play educational games with madrichim there. About 20 children regularly come to us every Sunday
Workshops studio
There is a studio for developmental workshops on our floor. Activities we provide include chess, gymnastics, drawing, beading and wood modelling.
Project "Shabbat in the Menorah"
Thanks to the full support of the Dnipro Jewish Community, our students have the opportunity to fully observe Shabbat every week.
Menorah provides us with comfortable rooms at the "7days" Hotel and many families in our community happily invite us to their homes for meals.
All students must attend prayers and Torah reading in the synagogue and then join the meal in the Menorah on Saturday.
During the month of Av we spent 4 Shabbats together and about 50 students joined us.
