Opening of workshop studio on 10 Shevat
Yud Shevat is the most important date for all of us!
This is the day Menachem Mendel Schneerson assumed the status of Rebbe.
We call the 10th of Shevat the birthday of our generation!

For the 21st year in a row, we have been celebrating this day with special achievements and the launch of new projects. This year we would like to invite you to the opening of a creative development center for Jewish children and teenagers!

We are opening 5 different studios at once, in which children will be able to discover their talents, fulfill themselves, gain life skills, and spend time usefully with Jewish friends.

We plan that very soon there will be even more of these studios!

Festive quiz for youth in honor of Tu Bishvat
On the evening of Tu BiShvat at Stars Dnipro, a project of the Jewish community of Dnipro in the field of non-formal education for youth, supported by STL, an exciting activity and farbrengen were held for students, timed to coincide with the 15th day of the Jewish month of Shevat, which is also called " Rosh Hashanah laIlanot, which in Hebrew means "New Year of the Trees."
First, a thematic lesson was held by a wonderful teacher Tzipora Shufotinskaya, where the participants of our programs learned about the history of the holiday, about the symbols of the holiday for the entire Jewish people, and that the flowering almond tree became the symbol of Tu Bishvat at the beginning of the settlement movement in Israel.
Then there was a fascinating and informative quiz with a variety of prizes.
The culmination of the meeting was a farbrengen, or rather a celebratory seder, where they talked about the “Seven Fruits for which Eretz Israel is famous”, about the sequence of the existing order of their consumption at the meal. This whole festive evening of Tu Bishvat in the Stars Dnepr project was held in a warm atmosphere of genuine ishkayt.

On the evening of Shevat 22, when the Jewish communities celebrate the 35th anniversary of the departure from the material world of the soul of the righteous Rebbetzin Chai-Mushka, the wife of the Head of our generation, the Seventh Lubavitcher Rebbe, Menachem Mendel Schneerson and the daughter of the previous Rebbe, Joseph Yitzchak, for students of the program "Stars Dnipro", a project of the Jewish Community of Dnipro in the field of non-formal education for youth, supported by STL, hosted several events.
Participation in such celebrations is very important for our students, and for those who have been attending our classes for a long time, and especially for new ones, of whom we have many - such participation helps them feel like part of our large and close-knit community and has a huge impact on development of their Jewish identity.

Lessons STARS
Every week, our center hosts educational sessions of the STARS
program for young people.
8 hours a week for STARS Intensive members and 2 hours
per week STARS Basis participants
Lessons with leading speakers, farbrengens, shabbats, parties and much more we organize for our students.

Youth farbrengens for guys
Every Thursday we host a men's farbrengen on the 8th floor, which is attended
by students from our Stars Basis and Stars Intensive programs. Our teachers and leaders fill this pastime with warmth and spirituality, the words of the Torah
and maysas are heard at the table.
From 10 to 15 guys come to our meals every time.

Every Sunday on the 8th floor of the Menorah we hold meetings for children and teenagers
In our classes, children listen to a
lesson on a weekly chapter, in which we highlight a topic that is relevant in accordance with modern realities so that it will be useful to our participants in life. They create beautiful crafts with their own hands at workshops and improve their soft skills during games with madrichs and various events.
Also during the program, we obligatory feed the participants with a delicious and kosher lunch.
On average, about 80 children and 30 teenagers attend our programs every week
